Sophie told me the story of how her crush broke her heart

“In 8th grade I had a crush on a girl. She asked me out to get ice cream and I said yes. Later that day, I saw her with a boy and she was kissing him. Immediately I started crying and ran home as fast as I could. The next morning at school she said she was straight. I knew she hated me because she said I hate gays and lesbians they’re gross. I wanted to smack her so hard.” I don’t remember it because I was 5 at the time. My sister started crying and I started sobbing as well. Having your heart broken is so hard to get over. She actually said she cut herself for 9 weeks straight.
