Is AnimeMaker Pro still a thing? I’m using it right now because I like the old formatting better than the new one, however whenever I want to make an anime I have to open basic AnimeMaker in order to access new features such as the move tool and canvas sizes.

Sorry for the info dump, this is a topic I researched heavily when my friends started calling me a furry, and since I related so hard I wanted to give you as much info as I could in order for you to have a proper defense against future allegations.

Delving deeper, another argument you may run into is the literal definition of an anthropomorphic animal; an animal with human characteristics. This can be anything from being fully bipedal with hands and fingers, to just being as smart as a human. Series like HTTYD aren’t considered furry media because the dragons are just animals, if slightly more intelligent than your average creature. However books like Wings of Fire or Warrior Cats are considered furry media because all the cats and dragons are fully intelligent and think like humans do. But also keep in mind the furry community is just that; a community. You can’t really be a furry unless you believe your a furry, and you can still enjoy reading or watching stories with anthropomorphic animals and not be a furry, and that’s kind of where we reside.

Also not calling you a furry, just trying to give as much information on this topic as I can so you can have a defense against future accusations.

I don’t consider myself one either. I actively dislike anthropomorphic animals, they just don’t sit well with me, but I also like squishy cartoony animals and I’ve loved reptiles since I was a little kid ( I would catch lizards in my backyard, had several pet lizards both purchased and captured, and I was OBSESSED with dinosaurs) so when I started drawing I eventually drifted towards drawing cute squishy dragons and that’s what I decided I liked drawing the most.

Also, furry is a term used to describe a person who likes anthropomorphic animals, it is NOT a person who like furry animals, that means that an anthropomorphic animals, with or WITHOUT fur, is a furry.

And since there are a LOT of anthropomorphic dragon characters out there, dragons are typically correlated to being a furry.

I think the reason he got this response is because dragons are often found in the furry community(almost as much as foxes or wolves, and god forbid the My little pony OC’s)
