Just got flashbacks to when my dad showed me pictures of flying scorpions (Mecoptera). Always thought if I saw one of those in real life I would just straight up give up and die.

Sometimes I wake up with a super sore throat, and abstain from speaking as to not make it worse. This of course becomes awkward when I go downstairs to eat or drink a glass of water, and I need to mime that I have a sore throat when people try to talk to me.
