Very true. Either way, if I stick up for Abdel, I’d be disliked by the other side where majority of my friends are. If I go against him, he and his followers wouldn’t like it.

Ah, thank you! I’m flattered. I can see both sides of the situation and I guess that’s why I feel remaining neutral is the best choice for me. It all drops down to calming down, analyzing, seeing where you stand, and if doing something would have an bad outcome or benefit in any way ⁄(⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄)⁄ If not, remaining silent would probably be the best option.

I can’t really help in this scenario. To be fair, the people who dislike him have a reason to. I’m not going to get involved if I don’t have to, but you can’t really expect people that he affected to do the same. I’ve been involved with him in the past and I don’t really have the best opinion on him, either, but even then, I feel like my experience isn’t as bad as others. I don’t blame them for being upset that he’s dodging restrictions when people wanted him banned. Kenmaz gave him a chance and he just keeps making new accounts. It’s essentially him getting off scott free if he just makes new accounts. He hasn’t properly apologized to everyone he’s affected and he basically said he even forgot all the people he’s traumatized. I don’t condone hate, but in this case, I can’t really stop it or hope it stops. It’s between him and the people he affected, not us as bystanders.

I should be asking you that! I absolutely adore your art! I first start with the lineart and then I map in the shading. I basically draw the line where the shadow and base color meets and then use the bucket tool to fill it all in ( ᵒ̴̶̷͈ ▿ ᵒ̴̶̷͈ )

I’m on IOS so I think it’s different. I draw using 2 pt, not dp. I believe it’s different for IOS and Android, but my close guess would be about 4 dp. I can’t be too sure, though (๑•̀∀- )و

My opinion on Abdel is somewhat neutral. I don’t particularly like him because we’ve had disagreements in the past and there were times where he’s been a thorn in my side. I don’t really hate him, though. My overall standpoint is that, while I don’t really think his presence on the app is healthy and that he should take a break for a while, I’m not going to stop him from trying to come back. Overall, I don’t really want to be associated with him at all and I believe his fate, if you can call it that, should be with up to the people he’s affected :(´◦ω◦｀):

No, he doesn’t. (˚ ˃̣̣̥ω˂̣̣̥ ) He’s not really an artist and I’m sure he wouldn’t be active if he had it.

They just keep making assumptions about me as an artist and what my art means when it’s all just speculation and only paints me in a bad light. I am allowed to speak out even if I have a following because just like them, I am allowed to talk about what I personally don’t like when people comment about my content whilst having no knowledge of me as a person and what I see my own art as.

Them saying they’re fine with “girls being proud of big boobs” but having a problem with me drawing them “for likes” goes against their own statement. Saying someone draws a curvaceous body only for likes is such a toxic idea to spread. They further say I’m “setting standards that can’t be reached without hurting your self confidence” when I never said I wanted a curvy body. They once more say I “use references but am literally just taking their art without making it at all unique” when I’ve never used references and when I do, I credit them in the description. They also assume I’m a male who has to hide behind an OC because I “hate myself” when in reality, Mochi is just an OC that I’ve had for a while and like to draw so I use her as a persona, not an accurate representation of myself.

Listen, I’m fine with getting constructive criticism, but their comments provided nothing to help other than pointing out obvious traits from my OC. I think I know that she’s curvaceous and it’s such a weird thing to comment about when it has nothing to do with art tips and is just saying “they’re big and that’s bad.” Furthermore, they commented on a post of mine saying something along the lines of me blocking them and that it was pathetic only to edit the comment after I replied back. They also asked about why I don’t show my face and now they comment saying I have to hide my face behind my OC as if I should be showing my face when I don’t want to.
