and that is what i mean by 9/11 jokes never being funny since 1. it only happened 19 years ago and 2. countless people have used it as a bandwagon for their bigotry.

and most of the stuff i see about 9/11 is about generalizing a country and being islamophobic/racist simply because the people who hijacked the planes were from saudi arabia.

alright then. what i’m trying to explain is the examples of which people try to mask their offensive behavior as “dark humor”. yes I do understand that there is a blurred line between what is good or bad dark humor, but it’s an issue when for example someone says something outwardly sexist and claims it’s dark humor.

a style of comedy making light of subject matter that is generally taboo. what i’m saying is considering dark humor “limitless” is pretty tasteless, since that would also include the people poking fun at a serious subject only for the purpose of being an asshole

the fact most of you think saying f as a joke is a legitimate way of showing respect for lives lost is mind boggling. why not try saying f during someone’s funeral in a mourning and serious setting? you’ll get the shit beat out of you. if not you’ll at least be barred from attending the service. miner, the fact you’re refusing to take accountability really speaks volumes on your priorities.
