Im so sorry to hear that. If he backstabbed you and made it difficult to be friends with you, then that wasn’t a real friend. It’s good that he gave you hope, but you need to find things and people that make you truly happy.
From what I can tell, you’re not heartless or cold. Maybe a bit blunt, but even that’s not really a bad thing. Your experiences shape who you are, and it sounds like you’ve had quite a few bad experiences, but that doesn’t mean there’s not hope. You’ll have good experiences too, whether you think so or not. Either way, you seem like a good person already, so long as you’re not an ass or anything (which, it doesn’t seem like you are).
If you want, I can be your friend, and I would try my hardest to be real to you. Of course, I can understand if you don’t want that, maybe because of bad experiences with friends.
Again, take care of yourself and find things/people that make you happy!

That’s no excuse to say there’s something wrong with them (him? Dunno their pronouns). They do have a few issues, but it’s not right to point that out and make them feel insecure about it. If you were disgusted or offended at all by this post then you can at least not be rude about it. Technically for things like this you should just scroll away and ignore it if you don’t like it, but if you must comment, you can try to be nice about it.

That can be true. It’s actually true for a lot of people. But that’s not all people, I’m brutally honest to the people I care about and trust the most, and my best friend tends to be the same way towards me. We both know we’re not trying to be mean or anything though, we make it clear we’re just saying facts.
If your friends are fake to you then you’re probably not close enough. I can’t tell you to appreciate that they’re lying to make you feel better, because lying is usually wrong unless you have to, but you should probably understand that they have good intentions and then make other, better friends!
Im not trying to tell you what to do, I just kind of have this instinct to give my opinion and advice whenever someone tells me an issue of theirs, sorry about that ^^;;
