😭luckily i am doing a lot better now in school and ive made up with all my old close friends and im generally well liked within my class since im a lot nicer to my classmates now but that's after like what. 3 years after quitting am. like god I've always hesitated saying this but if staying on this app gets to the point where it starts harming your social life and your relationships with others i really feel like it's better to take a break or just quit entirely because it's never worth it

the worst part is that I kinda get where a lot of the people here are coming from bc back in late 2020 when the community was still very active I was doing fucking horribly in school and cut contact with all my friends bc I was under the impression that nobody irl understood me and this was the only place where I could properly be myself and be understood except all that did was make me an asshole and ruin my social skills for the longest time
