Cherry: well a trapped gem is a original gem that fused with a other gem but then the fuse went wrong and the original gem shrinked and got trapped inside the other gem. So when the OTHER gem is shattered you will see the original gem shrinked. You can break it free and let the original gem reform or leave it there. We let them free instead
