*he goes quiet and sits down, pulling his knees up to him and crying silently*

Leo: Don't worry, Flame! We- we'll find her!
*he sounds a lot more hopeful, whether he's trying to convince himself or Flame, or if he genuinly belives it*

Leo: What in the world-?
*he looks confused and even more upset*
It's like... they weren't even here...

Leo: Y-yeah...
*he seems unconvinced but walks forward and looks for footprints, glancing around, and then he blows freezing air around the ground*

*he looks mortified and starts shaking*

The person: They always do end up killing someone, even their, quote- best friend -unquote.
*the person suddenly throws something on the ground in front of them and smoke fills the area, when it clears, the person and Sylph are nowhere in sight*

(Oki, that cleaning was quick, so if I don't show up for a bit it usually takes me from 15 to 30 minutes to eat, so I'll probably be back after that amount of time when I leave)
*the person sighs*
You can keep the boy, because I trust you won't kill him, but machines are monsters. They gladly kill when they can. I'm taking this thing with me.
*they place something on Sylph's head and Sylph seems to shut down, then they hold up their gun to make sure none of them follow them while they back away, with Sylph in one arm*

(Brb, gotta clean the table and eat dinner)

The person: Get away from me, you little-!
*she lets Leo go and pulls out her gun, pointing it at Flame*

*the person kicks backward at Flame and starts walking away with Leo and Sylph, both struggling and trying to get away*
Sylph: Let me go! Leave Leo and Flame alone! I don't want to go with you!
The person: Shut up before I cut all your power. I'm just curious of you.

*the person grabs Leo and takes him away from Flame, somewhat protectively, then they speak in a strange voice as if it is not their own in a strange way*
I know what you are, dragon. Leave the boy alone and I won't kill you. I'm just here for the machine.
*they turn back around just as Sylph reaches them and suddenly grabs her face with their gloved hand. She stumbles and tries to get the hand off her face, starting to panic*

*the person turns immediately toward Flame and kicks up at his face, and Sylph shakily gets back up*

*Leo glances around as Flame runs*
