the long writing doesn't matter, more details is better. If someone does something bad, tell someone like your parent, and if she doesn't care for some reason, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline in a place where you don't want your parents to find out. You should not be ashamed for avoiding abuse, and your family shouldn't punish you for it. this is a really tough situation though since your family is the only place you can only really rise and be educated in, and without them you'd be an orphan despite any emotional connections with your parents, putting them through the legal troubles they face sounds incredibly difficult... so I do not know how to help that well.

I don't know if its sterotypical to say families in saudia arabia and religious families still hold the old cultural norms close to them which favored guys over females and assigned life roles to most people. as for the weird things, that probably has to depend on age, many are old enough to know they aren't supposed to do certain things but some still think they can because they're young. If it were an adult with that kinda behavior, even suggestively, they would immediately be able to get jail time for it (with evidence e.e) xd

sketchfab 3D models (or even just a hat in person) can allow you to observe the depth of the hat and when things end or start, or even the angles things go up like a cap's main part of the hat, maybe even the duckbill-like angle that the cap's bill (literally that's the name)

some people (like myself) just draw perspective from instinct cause the calculations take awhile, but a really well proportioned hat in perspective is the most satisfying thing ever when it's done right

I don't but you could probably simplify it to how shapes look, the bottom surface is the one being angled, then you draw it as if there were an axis in the middle that decided the top of it, then draw around it since most hats are circular and are pretty much identical throughout the hat. like starting with a pancaked hat, that you push out the inside of so it takes form.. and with a Fedora or something, make it a square plane and draw a proportional oval in that space, and put a box on top that helps you angle the unique boxy shape
