The original country was Palestine but at the second world war Jews ran away to palestine and Palestinians welcomed them to their country with no problem, but then the Jews literally stole their country and now call it Israel and left a small part for Palestine and yet they still try to take away that little territory that is left to them by killing the Palestinians for no reason!! Hamas was created due to that and of course Hamas attached Israel to defend their country and it wasn't that big of an attack compared to what Israel has been doing to them and the way they replied!!!
