Basically I looked at other's art, took inspo, tried copying some artstyles (Anime, Realistic, Cartoony), realized I like cartoony the best and focused on that style and drew alot. Also I recommend you draw on a tablet since there's a bigger screen, but if you like the phone better, Idm.
