My old man is homophobic, but my mother isn't. This is kinda difficult. I'm sure they'll support your decision, after all its your feelings, they can't shape you to become someone they want, im sure if you say it with confidence they'll listen to you. That's how I told my old man I felt oppressed by him and im sure he understood about my decision.
