April 8 | 1838 Steamship "Great Western" makes her maiden voyage from Bristol, England, to New York this was the beginning of the Ocean Liner Era which Britain tests its technology for their Royal Navy.

The Great Western was one of the technologically advanced ships in the 1800s and has a lot of Incidents in its Maiden Voyage which made the Passengers aboard uncomfortable.
