I suggest eating small and soft, I have met multiple people that has the same problem as you, remember to drink water, eat carefully and not to big and whenever your parents being something big to eat and you can’t eat anymore just say “I can eat this later” but just remember not overeat yourself as it will make you even more sick and nauseous, stick to water for a while and just eat small but enough to make you full by your standard and stomach
