Definitely not normal things, but definitely are common to happen, unfortunately.💔
Just for context, I live and grew up in a different country from my family (I currently live with my sisters and parents in Ireland, whereas the others live mainly in Pakistan but also in other parts of the world like Canada, Saudi Arabia etc. ) so things aren't as bad for me, compared to my other family, and I'm not sure if that the cultural difference also influences the toxic relationship amongst my family???

Although, thankfully, in recent times, things aren't as bad as they used to be, at least from what I think and have observed in the family.

Surprisingly, my family is very religious.... So it honestly baffles me why they behave this way??🙃

For the r, I haven't exactly witnessed or experienced myself, but I am aware of it happening in the past, mainly amongst my aunts and uncles who then later on got married... And one of my favorite (female) cousins told me a story of when she almost got 🍇ed by another (male) cousin when they were hanging out together, along with a few other cousins. Luckily for her, she was saved by an older cousin before anything else could happen.
For abuse, there's a lot.
It kinda happens on a daily basis. It's mainly physical or verbal abuse but sometmimes there's also sexual abuse and black mailing/manipulation. I've experienced some like physical and verbal, but yeah. It's a really common thing to happen in the family, and I hate how everyone just moves on from it like nothing happened. 🙁🙁
I feel like favouritism of males over females is pretty self explanatory, boys and money are basically the top two favorite things.
