Yeah, it placed some resources in the chest at spawn, we broke it but while doing so random sounds played like skeleton horse galloping, and when we returned afterwards, the spawn is in a desert, one sand block was replaced by grass along with a poppy on it

And you know the weird thing it all started after I was looking in my chest, backed out to notice a creeper staring straight at me through our window and when I looked at it, it walked away, our base has fort walls around it so it's fully closed but this guy disappeared after that, we never killed it..

We do have a home and it somehow invaded our underground enchantment room and moved our enchantment table
