Me: Almost finished with my current painting but I only just realized that I didn't erase the pencil, and I have a terrible paint. Will the paint come off if I erase the pencil?

Me: When I finish them, I wanna show them to someone, but I'm just at my house with my cat and my dad

Kasey: Oooh, fun!

Me: The first one I did is almost finished. It's like a beach themed one

Kasey: Oooh, that's good!

Me: Today I asked my friends on what I should draw, and my friend gave me this really crazy one that I should do, im almost done with it and I'm proud of it, being only my second one

Me: Oh, I never even thought of doing a background! Silly me!

Kasey: It does for me! Black is too dull.

Me: Would that help to shade?

Kasey: It makes for a nice shading color, but it also just depends on your light source and what sort of mood you want to create.

Kasey: OH! I like to mix a deerp purple into my colors.

Kasey: I wouldn't shade with black.

Me:I have a question, when using a black water color, how do you shade? I'm having some problems with that.
