(Timeskip to when they are home and the food is here)

Bones: Oh! Alright, that's a start. So..Do you want it home made or fast food take-out?
*he is relieved he can help in some way*

Bones: (he nods and asks again) so..uh what do you want to eat tonight? Do you want a date? Uhm..do you need anything from the store?
