Until it breaks, because its wood. I would choose pistol, as you have ten emergency shots if they get toooooooo close. And you can also use the gun as meele and get unlimited kills, plus it would be more durable.

But the true answer is to get straight Fs in school, and don't do the dishes. This will unlock "Hispanic mom" as a character. Her weopon is her sandle. A strong weapon that never misses, capable of taking down hundreds of zombies.

Which do you chose?

How many zombies are there? How fast are they? How smart are they? How strong are they? Base ball bat is a very bad choice. So its between the grenade and the gun. Will there be more after this? If there will ill choose gun, as it can be used as a melee weapon if you are out of ammo, and you can throw it at their heads if you have taken down most of them. Also a free 10 kills, if you don't miss. But if they don't come back, I'd probably choose grenade, if they where tightly packed together. But overall pistol seems like the best choice.

Also if the bat was metal, I would choose it, but wood would break too easily and do alot less damage.
