I think it's the same reason America change the names in Pokemon XD to make the names the same language as what is being spoken XD at least I assume that's why pokemon did that XD yeah ash isn't ash in Japanese XD

Meh the actors just don't tend to look like the characters in the live action and if the live action is Korean they give em different names too XD they changed the names in the his over flowers Korean live action too XD

What is it about copy right?030 and copy right doesn't take effect unless u are marketing/selling or somehow profiting from the character I'm pretty sure but I'm not certain XD
