Why do people come here and say they want friends when the just want people that will pay attention to them when the say something drastic?

Like, " are you guys really even my friends..?"
Or, " my gf/bf -user name- left me... I think I'm going to kill myself... "
Or, " im getting bullied on here, its making me have suicidal thoughts.. "
