I'm reading a Nick Matthews fan fiction and they said he got undressed and got into the shower, then he got out and got dressed (read description-)

Telling a reader that the boy took off his clothes just gives them that one image of what they looked like. Most readers, like me, imagine what's going on, so that's a terrible part of the story for them..
