Was today just not your day? Not your week? May even seem like it’s been a whole month of nothing but pain? Can’t seem to catch a break?
Let us finish this day with thankfulness, because we are still alive, still breathing. Let us be thankful for the breath in our lungs, the stuff that keeps us going. Look to the Lord with thankfulness, because he does only good, and only allows the bad with good reason.
Your weakest points do not have to be your biggest. Let us change our focus from all the negative, and focus on the positives no matter how small. When we start to focus on the small positives, they get easier and easier to spot.
Jesus take the wheel!
That is a popular song, yes, but I think it should also be a way of thinking.

Dear Lord, today may of been a wreck, maybe even the whole month has been, but we know that once we call on your name and give you control, that we will be able to endure through it. Help us to see the blessings you have given us, despite everything the devil throws at us. Help us to know that we are not on this road alone, and that you are with us wherever we go. Thank you Lord Jesus, for the breath in our lungs, and the blood pumping through our veins. Thank you for your grace and mercy that you show us even though we deserve death. Lord, take the wheel! In Jesus name, Amen.
