Step 1. 2-3 colors although if you pick colors that fit good and you make it look nicer then it can fit
Step 2. Make it fucking flag shaped, NEPAL
Step 3. N o. L e t t e r I n g once so ever. None, it makes it look like shit, it’s hard to see waving, hard to see far away and when it’s flipped it’s impossible to read
Step 4. No seals. N o n e. It’s basically the same thing as the lettering
No 5. Don’t completely rip off other countries flags, IM LOOKING AT YOU CHAD AND ROMANIA, MONOCO, POLAND AND INDONESIA! (It’s highly unlikely all those countries didn’t know each other existed when they made their flag)
Step 6, make your symbols make sense, don’t just put 6 stripes on a flag because you like the look, no, make it mean something like— uhm- your country took 6 years to get independence ig idfk
Step 7. Don’t put another countries flag on your flag, HAWAII
