Pumpkin

On Halloween all the kids would trick or treat together. But not Kasy. She enjoyed watching movies and carving pumpkins. Her mom thought she should go and play with other kids and not sit around. “Kasy go out and play!” “No mom no,” Kasy said in a sad voice. “There’s monsters and spooky houses! I like the simple stuff!” “Going Trick-or-Treating isn’t scary!” Kasy sighed and pulled a sheet from the closet. She cut 2 holes in it, slipped it on and went out the door. She saw all the kids with family and friends, she didn’t want any part in it though. “I will go to 3 houses and be done.” She said bravely. As she walked to the first house a chill ran up her spine and the wind got stronger. “Hello?!” The door cracked open and something pulled her in.
