I understand how this could be a misunderstanding, but I assure you there are differences that make their art styles completely different. As you can see with Orange's art it's more cartoony, your friends has more of a " anime " style in my opinion.

I can see obvious similarities and obvious differences, but that also doesn't mean you tell another person to change there style because it looks somewhat similar.. I don't really understand how someone could be offended..
