Humans are not candy

They’re bitter
They’re sweet
They’re mixed
They make us feel
They make us happy
They make us sad
They can be hard like rock candy
Or soft like taffy
Either way
They’re just humans
Not candy
Because humans can change
While candy stays the same forever
