I need criticism pls..

So here what I’ve git for my campaign so far.
5 players start out in separate locations and as they travel on each of them find a colored gem. The gems lead the players to some old ruins where they all meet each other..suddenly a ghost like person appears and tells them they must find the five great swords and defeat some great evil terrorizing the country..the campaign is the players traveling to different regions and getting the swords... So anything you’d add, or change to make it more interesting??
