Universe Chronicles Chapter 1

I woke up like every other day, sun was shining, and almost no clouds. I went downstairs into the kitchen to find two notes.
“I went to my cousins house, love you!” -Mom
“I went too :/“ -Dad
I knew he would go too. I noticed the clock next to me and I was late for school! When entering school I tried looking for my friend. I found him by his locker, he was trying to get something but I didn’t know what it was, it looked like a orb but not. It kept changing to different shapes like a triangle and square. I ignored it and started talking to him. “Hey!” I said. He looked worried, like he was trying to hide something. “What’s wrong” I questioned. “Nothing” now he knew I saw what was in there. “Maybe we should head to class” “Sure” I said wile having my best “whats going on” face. He looked even more worried now. “Hey whats going on with your shoes?” I looked down and noticed my shoes changed from blue to black really fast. “Wow!” I said ecstatic and at the same time puzzled.
“Wait a minute...We are late for class!” I said. Once I went home I saw that no one was home. “Huh, guess no one is home” I grabbed a donut from the kitchen then headed towards my room. That’s when I noticed that the wallpaper on our hallway walls had changed from green to grey. “That’s... odd” I said running to my room, but then I saw that my room changed sides from right to the left side of the hallway. “whats going on with this house?” I went into my room and shut my door behind me. I jumped onto my bed and pulled the covers over my head. Then I peaked over my blankets and saw black smoke coming through the bottom of my door. I was terrified. Millions of thoughts went trough my head, “what is going on?!” “Am I going to die?” Where a couple of questions going through my mind. Before I knew it my room was almost completely covered in smoke, then all was lost in black. There was no noise, nobody, nothing. Just in a blink of a eye, everything was gone.
