Ok dose the turtle have any distinct markings like stripes or is it like a snapping turtle or box turtle if it's a box turtle don't put them in water cause they dround easy

Well first of all you need a tank of course. Get some food for it and make sure it has the right environment stuff in the tank like water for it to swim and cool off.
