are people with anxiety weak minded?
ive just been having this debate with a friend (whos a pretty positive person overall) and he believes that people who claim they have anxiety may be weak minded, because if you just force yourself to be calm and happy then your anxiety will lighten up. idk how i feel about it, hes not wrong, trying to be more positive may help but for anxiety disorders i believe it can be harder than that. the debate started because i was talking about thinking about therapy because ive been having bad anxiety alot of days at a time and it was preventing me from doing normal daily things:( before this quarantine of course lol.
