COPPA (raise awareness of this to save YouTube)

COPPA is making YouTube pay 170 Million dollars because of this law written in about 1998, COPPA aka FTC has been written to make sure children are ok browsing the internet, so data couldn’t be collected unless parents signed a consent paper through mail. For years YouTube has been following this law until videos that aimed toward children started. Inappropriate content as cuss words and pregnancy with cartoon characters in it, grown people in costumes. And especially ping fong’s baby shark will be affected, channels containing Minecraft, roblox, and more kid based platforms on YouTube. You tubers had to sign a paper saying if their content they posted was aimed towards small children. Many channels may disappear, say someone blogged for 4 years of family friendly content is gonna be fined for every mis categorized video 42k, so when i say categorized I mean YouTube is making sure violent things and things like to family friendly will be deleted and YouTube will be boring. You tuber that have a hilarious reaction to something scary that makes younger audiences watch may be deleted, flamingo, markiplier, itsfunneh, and Pewdiepie and more people in those genres will be affected by this. Gameplays to characters making stories will be affected to. Please spread awareness about this, hopefully YouTube can go back to normal.
