When you wanna tell someone a joke wasn’t that funny but you don’t wanna harm them in anyway possible:

Hey guys if I’m offensive you in anyway when I’m trying to make a point, please know I’m just trying to be honest to people. I don’t like lying (although I have done it before.) So if you get mad at me for trying to make my point, please know I am NOT trying to harm you in any way.
Infact, I might be hurting myself by lying to people.
