My theory on how Chris McLean might be a Pyschopath(SPOILER)

In the first season it seems that he has cameras everywhere, It's weird that he makes the people do deadly challenges. Does Chris want them dead? It's also weird that Chris goes to jail in one of the seasons. Again it's weird how Chef holds Chris in one of the seasons telling him something I didn't understand. Heather also gets ignored the most. Is she going to die first from Chris. Why did Chris go to jail? Why does Chef treat Chris like a kid? We will never now
