Tsukino Usagi (her real name) is actually a pun : tsuki no usagi→ actually means rabbit on the moon (in japanese) which refers to an old Chinese legend of a young woman who went to the moon and transformed into a rabbit XD
idk why u have to know this , but yea... Recently I started re-reading the manga and found this that's why I remembered this
