Daybreak - S1 Ep1

Blue groaned and tossed over again. ‘Red, let... me sleep...’
Red grinned mischievously. ‘Come on, you’re supposed to be sensible!’ He mewed mockingly. Honestly, he could be so annoying sometimes. He paced over, deliberately stomping as loud as he could. Blue narrowed her eyes as Red opened that big mouth of his again. ‘No, I’m not waking you up at 4am for no reason. I know what you’re thinking. Seems someone can’t remember that out flight will be leaving soon.’ Our.. flight? Oh no! How could she have forgotten? Today they were moving away, pretty far too. Blue leapt out of bed and grabbed her bag of luggage she had packed last night. The rest of their stuff would be in their new home already. ‘I called a taxi to the airport already,’ Red mused smugly. Quickly, she pulled on some clothes and brushed her teeth, before chugging more instant coffee than a cat should have in a day - let alone two minutes - before bursting out of the door and throwing herself into the cab. Red soon followed. She nodded to the driver, a serious-looking grey wolf, and they set off to the airport.

AFTER ARRIVING (note: their flight only took, like, two hours. It wasn’t too far away.)

It had been a few hundred metres at least. Maybe Blue should have got her driving licence already - she was of age after all. Oh well. They needed more exercise anyway, and even if she had it, they couldn’t afford a car. Her and Red sat down for a quick rest on top of a hill - and then they saw it. Hundreds of tiny little buildings in the distance, their windows twinkling with early-morning sunlight. ‘Looks like we’ve arrived,’ Red murmured.
‘Home,’ she whispered.
