Akito asked Jack if he wanted to know why he called him glow stick. Jack honestly did want to know why he gave him such a strange name so he said “sure”. Akito explained how he could sense peculiar/ unusual energies and how he sensed some coming from Jack. He told him that’s the reason he got Blake to give him the charm. Akito told Jack he could do a thing called energy wielding meaning he could control large amounts of energy, as a result of using the powers it makes their eyes and hands glow, that’s why Akito called Jack “Glow stick”
