Just a friendly reminder
Tomorrow June 21 2020 there is going to be a solar eclipse called the ring of fire. The eclipse will be visible in Africa and Asia, including the Central African Republic, Congo, Ethiopia, southern Pakistan, northern India, and China.
If you do live in those areas and you want to watch the eclipse make sure you have solar viewers. Solar viewers are basically eyewear made for direct viewing of the sun during a solar eclipse. without those You could get eclipse blindness aka retinal burns or solar retinopathy with means you could lose your eye sight or blur your vision. Also normal sunglasses don’t do the same thing. NASA has only approved solar eclipse glasses made for viewing an eclipse. Also something weird is that you should not eat or drink during the eclipse I’m sure some people will be or will be finished eating because it will occur Sunday morning. Why should you not eat? Well because of the absence sunlight, bacteria tend to get active, witch could affect the nutrients profile of your food and prove detrimental to you health but eating an hour or so after the eclipse is fine. Also after the eclipse it is advised to shower because the lack of proper sunlight during a solar eclipse triggers multiplication of microbes, taking a shower/bath decreases the bacterial and viral load, there for decreasing bacterial growth. (Sorry for the long post just wanted to let you guys know ) (also just saying I am not a scientist so if any of this is incorrect sorry and if I miss spelled anything I’m sorry)
