FLASH WARNING experimenting with framerates

I stared at this for a solid two minutes.
I still see the colors flashing.

After around a minute and a half, I was seeing circles of blue or red on each frame.
Around 1 minute, the dot looked like it was moving.
The rate was not fast enough for me to see purple, which was my goal originally.
