Story Time 3: Our pets

My family has had many pets. Right now we have 1 dog, 1 cat, 1 rabbit, and many fish. But we used to have more. A few months ago we had a female dog named Gracie. She was around 14 years old and was the same breed of dog as the one we have now. (Boxer) But she sadly passed away. We also had some hamsters. It started with Peaches, a tan coloured hamster that had a long life. After her came Nuts and Lightning, 2 brothers. Nuts was white with gray patches, and Lightning was dark gray. But...Well, something happened and Nuts passed away. We then gave Lighting to one of our friends. Then we got Mable and Swiss. We got Mable from someone who didn't want her anymore because they couldn't really take care of her anymore. I remember me and my sister used to nickname them "Mable Wable" and "Swiss knight". (We nicknamed Swiss that because there was a type of cheese called Swiss Knight) We stopped getting hamsters after that. The hamsters tended to not live longer than a year. (Except Peaches, she was really old!!) We started getting fish many years ago and have gone through many fish deaths. They always disappear or die for pretty much no reason. We never really know why they die.
