A Doll in the Woods

Once upon a time,
Someone found a doll.

'Looks.... Unsettling,' they thought.
They fixed it up,
Cutting it half way down the body and replacing it with the body of an animal. They left the tail, sewing it back in place.
'What kind of tail is this?'
They cut of the end and replaced it.
'Devil horns? Really?'
Then those were gone.
They put the hood of the hoodie up,
Sewed the hoodie to the doll,
Added cat ears to the hood,
Sewing the hood to the head by the ears.
'Looks normal enough.'
They fixed the face,
Gave it a smile.
'There we go. Good as new.'

They sold it to a little girl.
Something about the doll told her to name it Axel,
So she did.

Little did they know,
It's a voodoo doll.
