The mistakes of ¡GuyMakesComics!

This is not a rant nor an angry call out post, don't worry. I'm sharing my genuine thoughts and feelings about him and why people dislike him quite a lot.

Let's get on with the main thing now;

While GMC is seemingly innocent, with his rather simplistic cutesy art and personality, he's done some pretty mean things which many of his supporters may or may not be aware of.

For example,

From the information that I've gathered, he made a side account a few days ago to call some mutuals of mine who were critisising and calling him out "faggots".

He's also misgendered them multiple times as shown in the anti GMC quote/chant, often having to repeat themselves and tell him that their non binary and such,and at this rate it's clear to see why they would assume he's doing this on purpose.

While these things may seem not too bad or justified, they are still quite notable:

His habit of spamming, which can be extremely irritating if you're art doesn't get noticed that much or if you've told him to stop commenting on your posts.

He posts extremely often, and while there's nothing wrong with making a lot of content, it takes up a lot of slots in the rankings, making harder for others to get there.

His lack of having the ability to tell critism and hatred apart. He constantly shrugs anything that isn't talking about how great he is off as "hate", even when not intended to insult him and are actually supposed to help him.

He also never really apologises or really shows any genuine sympathy for the people who dislike him. When he does get in trouble, he makes a post about his "haters" and lies about it which leads to his followers trying to defend him from any critism.

Let me make this clear- I do NOT hate GMC personally at ALL or desire to kill him with a burning passion and all that, I just think that he should take time to learn from his past mistakes and stop making any criticism seem like a personal attack against him.

Also, could I just talk about his defenders/fans? I know they have good intentions, trying to defend their inspiration/friend, but please do your research before disagreeing with any accusations.

Also please stop calling my mutuals to kill themselves or any rude names, they have feelings too, and sometimes it really hurts them. Respect everyone.
