Well wolfy it was kinda obvious, they never mentioned lion dying but theres a connection, because when Steve and Lars got trapped on homeworld Lars died but Steven revived him with his tears, and so Lars became pink, he also had the "magic hair", Steven was able to teleport through his hair to lions mane so that had to be a sign that Rose brought lion back from the dead before Steven even existed

I never knew lion died but i watched the episode- maybe i forgot?
