The story of the dead three
in a time long past, 3 powerful mortals seeked godhood, so they went to Death. Death promised that if they could imprison beings known as the Old gods, then they will be able to take his place as being death. They fought and imprisoned many of these old gods, and Death, growing tired of his position, gave his domains to the three, One, Bane was granted the Domain of Darkness. the second, Baal was granted the domain of murder. The Last, Merykul was granted the domain of bones, but these three's greed didnt end with minor godhood, they wanted to be at the top, so they stole the codex of the gods and hid it on earth. Ao, the head god, decided to punish all the gods, sending them to earth only to be let back when they find the codex, but he put one god, Ebony into a dark sphere to prove to the other gods that they can die. sent to earth, they were weakened, and many battles ensued, Bane was killed by the God of thunder, Baal killed by the God of trickery weilding the god of the night, (its complicated), and Merykul killed by the mortal mage whos name as been lost to time. After this time of troubles, the three gods gained the names The Dead Three and after a breif resurection and redeath, a cult was formed to bring these gods back to life, everything so far as not worked, but they are close. Little known by Mortals or by the Gods, Ebony lived, and he is growing, destroying everything in his way...
