My cat just died

we think he had a undetected tumor or cancer in his stomach, we had just got back from swimming from someone's birthday party and my mom found him dead, we think he died while asleep. I hope he wasn't in pain but I gave him all the love he could have gotten as a cat, he also had a gum infection, he was like a second son to me just like Jacob..

I try my best not to feel anything once the death comes, he was a good cat and very loving. He would come up to me if I did a little clapping thing and would just all around be a good and caring cat. At least he's in a better place now
