Star Dust
Ever couple centuries, a star is born. The dust from those before her gathers, settles, and forms new light. But every so often, a star, so small that it can barely stand up, suffers the unfortunate fate of being brought into this universe. These stars are so fragile that they often die upon creation. But this little star, despite all odds, has suffered and strived for millennia. Why would a creature push through for so long? The answer is simple. A little planet. So fragile, so far away, that she could barely see it. But that little bit of warmth, that little bit of light, was just enough to give birth to new life. And so she pushed on, watching as the little creatures on this tiny, tiny, planet grow and thrive. Eventually, the creatures built houses. And those houses became citys. Soon enough, the little people had built art and music and science and religion and culture and love. They called the star that had floated above them a celestial body, of beauty and of grace, and they called the other planets around them "Solar systems". Fast forward a couple thousand years. The little people she has loved so much has moved on to other things. They has built rocket ships, which took them to other planets, and shelters where they settled. After awhile, nothing was left for the little star on this little planet. And so, exhausted and content to haveing served her purpose, the little star rested for a moment.... And died. Her star dust scattered across the galaxy, giving birth to new stars, some thousands of times larger then her. That little star never faded into obscurity. Instead, she shined a light to give another life form hope.
