Adie: Really.
Max: What are you waiting for?! Kill it!
Adie: Wait... are you afraid of snails?
Max: Maybe.
Adie: Eh *picks up the snail and puts it outside* My work here is done!

Recap: Max called Adie and told her that there were giant snails and he was hiding behind a broken table so Adie went to Max's work place.

In case you're wondering how the desk got broken, Max got so sacred that he jumped out of his desk and broke it (because the snail was on the desk) but completely missed the snail.
