Am I wrong to feel this way?

It kinda destroys my will to continue trying to get popular or noticed because I know that people will unfollow if they don’t like a drawing or they just won’t follow because I’m not as popular as other artists or not friends with popular artists, I don’t understand why people follow others because they’re popular or friends with people who are popular, I know some people follow others because of art but that’s just a little amount, this is just how I personally feel
