In the community, lesbophobia is so normalized, it’s not even funny. We try to use our voices but we are shut down with “biphobia.” We know biphobia is an issue but please let us use our damn voices for us talking about lesbophobia at the moment. Let me say some:
-TERFS
Lesbians are always seen as TERFS and I’m very puzzled from where that came from. If anything, mostly straight women are TERFS ,,,, example, JK Rowling 😬
-Characters lesbian coded
I see many characters lesbian coded and people write them off as bisexual just because they liked one guy. Coming from someone who liked one guy, you guys have no idea what comphet is and it shows. Comphet is the voice inside of lesbians that tell us to remember our purpose; to please men, that’s what we’ve been told our whole life. It obviously isn’t true now as we’re looking for change, but comphet is still strong inside of us and it takes awhile to get over it, from experience, I got over it very quickly. Just cause a lesbian likes a man, doesn’t mean they’re immediately bi, they are most likely comphet or figuring themselves out yknow.
Fetishization
We are not your entertainment, we are not your toy, we aren’t attracted to you men so when a lesbian says they’re lesbian, stop saying “I can turn you straight.” It’s so gross and I can’t stand it, we didn’t choose to be lesbian. We didn’t choose for you straight men to be attracted to us just because it’s two lesbians. I saw something the other day, a tiktok, a man asking a girl out. She was lesbian and said so, he told her he could turn her straight and she was obviously uncomfortable and started nervously laughing, he asked her to rate him, then asked for a kiss on the cheek then he kissed her, claiming “I can turn girls straight !!” DO YOU SEE THE PROBLEM ??? WE ARENT ATTRACTED TO MEN STOP PURSING US PLEASE.
